EHR (Electronic Health Record)

EHR

An Electronic Health Record (EHR) is a digital record of a patient’s health that is designed to be shared across multiple providers and care settings, not just one clinic. The terms EMR and EHR are often used interchangeably; the practical difference is scope — an EMR lives inside one practice, while an EHR is meant to travel with the patient. For most single- and multi-doctor clinics, an EMR like ZidBit covers day-to-day needs.
