Modern clinics often operate with multiple practicing partners, part-time associates, and visiting super-specialist consultants. The Doctors module manages clinician shift schedules, OPD availability, and automated consultation fee split calculations.

Accessible by: Admin (full roster & financial payout management), Doctors (view own schedule and earnings statement), Billing (payout disbursement verification)

1. Clinician Directory (/dashboard/doctors)

Press <kbd>O</kbd> or click Doctors in the sidebar to view your clinic's clinician directory:

• List of all active doctors and visiting specialists
• Medical council registration numbers and qualifications
• Assigned consultation rooms
• Base consultation charges and fee structures

2. Shift Rostering & OPD Availability (/dashboard/doctors/roster)

A doctor's roster defines when they are available to see patients. This schedule automatically drives both front-desk appointment bookings and online patient self-scheduling:

Configuring a Doctor's Weekly Roster:

1. In the sidebar, go to Doctors → Roster.
2. Select the doctor from the dropdown.
3. Configure their weekly shift schedule:

1. Click Save Roster.

Marking Doctor Leaves & Time Off:

When a doctor travels or attends a medical conference:

1. In the Roster view, click + Add Clinician Leave.
2. Select the date range and enter the reason (e.g., "CME Conference", "Annual Leave").
3. The system automatically blocks those slots on the appointment calendar and online booking portal, preventing patient booking conflicts.

3. Consultation Fee Splits & Payouts (/dashboard/doctors/payouts)

Calculating monthly fee splits for multiple visiting doctors using manual spreadsheets is time-consuming and error-prone. Clinic OS automates this calculation based on verified, paid patient visits.

Configuring Fee Split Agreements:

Admins configure payout rules per doctor in their profile:

• Percentage Split Model: e.g., Doctor receives 70% of consultation fee; Clinic retains 30% for facility infrastructure and front-desk management.
• Fixed Fee per Patient Model: e.g., Doctor receives a flat ₹400 per consultation regardless of patient bill.
• Procedure Revenue Share: Specific percentage splits for minor surgical or diagnostic procedures (e.g., 50% on wound suturing, 80% on root canals).

Generating the Payout Settlement Ledger:

1. Navigate to Doctors → Payouts.
2. Select the Settlement Period (e.g., Current Month, Last Month, or custom date range).
3. The system compiles an itemized reconciliation report:

Reviewing and Disbursing Payouts:

1. Click on any doctor row to inspect the individual patient consultation ledger (shows date, patient name, invoice number, and fee collected).
2. Once the clinic accountant or Admin transfers the funds via bank transfer or cheque, click Mark Settlement Disbursed.
3. Enter the transaction payment reference and date.
4. Export Statement: Click Export PDF / Excel to provide the doctor with an official, transparent payout settlement statement.
