Clinic OS provides two distinct communication channels:

1. Outbound Patient Messaging (/dashboard/communications): Automated WhatsApp, SMS, and Email delivery of appointment reminders, prescriptions, payment receipts, and health updates.
2. In-App Help & Support Drawer (Header <kbd>?</kbd> Icon): Direct communication with the ZidBit technical support and clinical success team.

1. Patient Communications Hub

Accessible by: Admin, Doctor, Receptionist

Press <kbd>M</kbd> or click Communications in the sidebar to access your clinic's messaging command center:

📱 Pre-Approved Templates & DLT Compliance

All outbound patient messages via WhatsApp and SMS use pre-approved, telecom-compliant templates:

• Appointment Confirmations & Reminders: Dispatches clinician name, appointment date, time, and Google Maps clinic directions.
• Digital Prescriptions: Delivers a secure, mobile-friendly PDF link of the prescription immediately following consultation completion.
• Invoice & Payment Receipts: Sends an itemized receipt with paid amount and balance summary.
• Follow-up Reminders: Prompts patients when clinical re-evaluation is approaching.

DLT & Meta Compliance: Templates strictly adhere to telecom regulatory standards (such as TRAI DLT in India and Meta WhatsApp Business policies), ensuring guaranteed inbox delivery without spam filtering.

📜 Messaging History & Delivery Logs

The Logs tab tracks every message dispatched from your clinic:

• Patient Name & Phone Number
• Channel (WhatsApp / SMS / Email)
• Status: Sent, Delivered, Read, or Failed
• Timestamp of dispatch and receipt

💳 Prepaid Messaging Wallet

WhatsApp notifications and SMS alerts draw from your clinic's universal messaging credit pool:

• Check your balance at any time under Usage & Wallet.
• New clinics receive 100 complimentary starter credits.
• Top up credits directly using UPI, Net Banking, or Credit Card from Workspace Settings → Wallet.

2. In-App Help Drawer & Support Tickets

Accessible by: Everyone (all staff roles)

Whenever you have a question, encounter an unexpected glitch, or want to suggest a feature, use the built-in Help Drawer:

Opening the Support Drawer

• Click the Help (?) icon in the top-right corner of the application header bar.
• The slide-out Help Drawer opens without navigating away from your active patient chart or queue.

Submitting a Support Ticket

Switch to the Submit Ticket tab:

Click Submit Ticket. You will receive an instant confirmation and ticket ID.

Tracking Tickets & Support History

Switch to the Ticket History tab in the Help Drawer to view open and resolved tickets, read responses from ZidBit engineers, and reply directly within the app.
