This guide walks you through logging in to Clinic OS for the first time.

How Login Works

Clinic OS uses a secure, passwordless login — no passwords to remember. Instead, you receive a 6-digit code by email each time you sign in.

Before you begin: Your clinic Admin must add you as a team member. You'll receive an invitation email with the Clinic OS link.

Step 1 — Enter Your Work Email

1. Open the Clinic OS URL in your browser.
2. On the login screen, type the work email address your Admin registered for you.
3. Click Send Code.

Example: drsmith@yourclinic.com

⚠️ Make sure to use the email your Admin provided — personal emails won't work.

Step 2 — Enter Your 6-Digit Code

1. Check your email inbox for a message from ZidBit Clinic OS.
   • Subject: something like "Your Clinic OS verification code"
   • Check your Spam / Junk folder if you don't see it within a minute.
2. Copy the 6-digit code from the email.
3. Type the code into the verification screen and click Verify.

Codes expire after 10 minutes. If yours expires, click Resend Code to get a new one.

Step 3 — You're In!

After successful verification:

• New users (first login): You'll be taken to a short onboarding wizard to complete your clinic profile. This only happens once. The wizard covers:
  • Your display name and professional title
  • Your clinic's specialty (e.g. General Practice, Dermatology, Paediatrics) — select the one that best describes your clinic
  • Basic clinic details (name, address, timezone)
• Returning users: You'll land directly on the Dashboard.

You can update your clinic's specialty at any time from Settings → General.

Staying Signed In

Your session stays active for 24 hours. After that, you'll be asked to sign in again with a new code.

Signing Out

To sign out, click your avatar / profile picture at the top of the sidebar and select Sign Out.
