🚀 Getting Started
This guide walks you through logging in to Clinic OS for the first time.
How Login Works
Clinic OS uses a secure, passwordless login — no passwords to remember. Instead, you receive a 6-digit code by email each time you sign in.
Before you begin: Your clinic Admin must add you as a team member. You'll receive an invitation email with the Clinic OS link.
Step 1 — Enter Your Work Email
- Open the Clinic OS URL in your browser.
- On the login screen, type the work email address your Admin registered for you.
- Click Send Code.
Example: drsmith@yourclinic.com
⚠️ Make sure to use the email your Admin provided — personal emails won't work.
Step 2 — Enter Your 6-Digit Code
- Check your email inbox for a message from ZidBit Clinic OS.
- Subject: something like "Your Clinic OS verification code"
- Check your Spam / Junk folder if you don't see it within a minute.
- Copy the 6-digit code from the email.
- Type the code into the verification screen and click Verify.
Codes expire after 10 minutes. If yours expires, click Resend Code to get a new one.
Step 3 — You're In!
After successful verification:
- New users (first login): You'll be taken to a short onboarding wizard to set up your display name and profile. This only happens once.
- Returning users: You'll land directly on the Dashboard.
Staying Signed In
Your session stays active for 24 hours. After that, you'll be asked to sign in again with a new code.
Signing Out
To sign out, click your avatar / profile picture at the top of the sidebar and select Sign Out.
